Foundations of VNH Revival Network

Purpose
VNH Revival Network is a ministry that connects and unites individuals, ministries and churches that share a revival mindset. Specifically, VNHRN facilitates the sharing of resources, the gathering of like-minded believers for mutual edification and spiritual growth, and the support of mission outreaches consistent with Kingdom values.
Commitment
Those who choose to covenant with VNHRN do so out of a desire to see revival culture advanced. The role of VNHRN is purely supportive. Individuals and ministries connect for mutual benefit but remain completely autonomous. It is expected that those who covenant with VNHRN be in agreement with the mission, vision and beliefs of the organization.
Membership
VNHRN offers opportunities to connect as an individual, ministry or church. Leaders in ministries or churches are eligible to apply for ministry credentials as a licensed or ordained minister.
Governance
VNHRN is governed by a Board of Directors of not less than three led by an Executive Director who serves as the principal leader. The board of directors holds all authority in the appointment of board members, the filling of offices and vacancies including the Executive Director, and the setting and overseeing of finances, policies, and activities of the organization. Board members are responsible to review and approve requests for covenant membership and ministry credentialing.
Financial support
VNHRN is supported by credentialing dues, conference fees and and contributions of those who have a passion for revival.
Gatherings
VNHRN hosts a spring and fall conference to bring network members together for worship, prayer, ministry, and teaching. Those in the network as well as those with an interest in revival culture are encouraged to attend. Throughout the year, other events are organized with the goal of uniting and encouraging network partners.
Spiritual gifts
VNHRN emphasizes the five-fold gifts outlined in Ephesians 4:11. We believe it is essential that these five gifts be operating for revival culture to thrive. As such, we promote identifying these gifts in our partners and raising up effective ministers of these gifts through teaching, mentoring and the laying on of hands. The other gifts of the Holy Spirit specifically mentioned in 1 Corinthians 12 and Romans 12 are likewise essential. We believe that when we are operating in the gifts of the Spirit, signs and wonders follow.
Courtesies
Members of VNHRN agree to avoid controversies concerning non-essential doctrines and politics when relating with each other. Although VNHRN respects the right for individuals and ministries to follow their own passion and leading when it comes to such issues, it is expected that the central focus of what we accomplish together be centered in the gospel of Jesus and His example.
