VNH Revival Network | Requirements for Licensed Ministry

 

Vermont New Hampshire Revival Network has as one of its missions to advance revival ministry in our region by identifying and recognizing those called to lead. We license a proven call. Those who believe that they have been called to ministry leadership and who wish to be considered having credentials through VNH Revival Network are invited to apply to the Board of Directors for licensed ministry. The following criteria must be met.

 

1. A mature personal relationship with Jesus Christ demonstrated by a lifestyle consistent with Biblical standards and evidence of a deep commitment to serving Jesus in his/her personal and corporate life.

 

2. Evidence of the gifting and calling to minister on a corporate level in the five-fold ministry and a passion to use those gifts and follow that call to serve the local church and advance the Kingdom of God.

 

3.  Fulfillment of the standards of ministry outlined in 1 Timothy 3:1-13.

 

4. Agreement with and adherence to the beliefs, vision, mission, principles and bylaws of VNH Revival Network.

 

5. Willingness to work cooperatively with the Board of Directors of VNH Revival Network and submit to the leadership of the Executive Director and Overseer of VNH Revival Network to resolve conflicts and differences according to Matthew 18:15-17 and the principle of the culture of honor.

 

6. Evidence of a knowledge and understanding of the Bible and theology consistent with an evangelical and Spirit filled perspective.

7. A Written account of your personal spiritual journey that includes:

• How you came to personally know Jesus.

• How you feel called to ministry.

• The experiences and formal learning that have prepared you for ministry.

 

8. A written response outlining your personal theology including your position on:

• a.       The role of the Holy Bible in the life of the believer

• b.       The doctrine of God the Father

• c.       The doctrine of Jesus

• d.       The doctrine of the Holy Spirit

• e.       Doctrine of the church

• f.        The doctrine of sin and grace

• g.       The doctrine of salvation and eternal security

• h.       The doctrine of baptism of the Holy Spirit and gifts of the Spirit

• i.         Man’s responsibility and power to minister on Christ’s behalf

• j.         The return of Christ

 

9. Three letters of recommendations from persons who have known you for more than three years in ministry capacity. At least one should be someone who has a mentoring/pastoring role in your life.

 

10. Personal interview with the Board of Directors and recommendation from the Board of Directors for licensing.

Those who hold credentials through another licensing ministry are welcome to apply to have their credentials transferred to VNH Revival Network the only requirement being an interview with the Board of Directors and their recommendation.

 

 

 

VNH Revival Network | Requirements for Ordination

 

Vermont New Hampshire Revival Network has as one of its missions to advance revival ministry in our region by identifying and recognizing those called to lead. We ordain a proven ministry. Those who have served in the capacity of ministry leadership and have proved their ability to lead are invited to apply to the Board of Directors of VNH Revival Network for ordination. The following criteria must be met.

 

1. A minimum of two years of ministry experience as a licensed minister in a ministry setting.

2. The recommendation of key leader(s) in that ministry specifically addressing the qualifications of the candidate to be ordained.

3. Recommendation of outside mentor(s) and spiritual leaders who have personally witnessed the effectiveness of the candidate.

4. Interview with the Board of Directors and recommendation of the board for ordination.

 

Those who hold credentials through another licensing ministry are welcome to apply to have their credentials transferred to VNH Revival Network the only requirement being an interview with the Board of Directors and their recommendation.
